The house is perfectly located in the heart of Surrey Quays in London, less than 10 minutes’ walk from Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, where you will find retail outlets and fast food restaurants, ideal for tourists on the go. In 15 minutes you can board a tube at Canada Water and be on route to the high rise cityscape of Canary Wharf for world class shopping and dining, or even keep heading east to visit the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home to the London 2012 Olympics.
You will find a Tesco Extra supermarket at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, ideal for any groceries, clothes or electronics you may need. The Surrey Docks gastro pub is a short walk away and serves a good range of food. There is also the Yellow House Bar and Kitchen within a few minutes’ walk from the property, where they offer a bistro menu, a grill menu and an organic pizza menu.
If you’re a sports enthusiast, then walk for just 2 minutes and you’ll find yourselves at Surrey Docks Watersports Centre, where there is a range of activities including a gym. (Please note, only members can book water sport activities).

The property is a few minutes’ walk from public transport. Walk for 15 minutes and you can take the Jubilee Line from Canada Water underground station to Westfield Stratford City, one of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe, for retail outlets and restaurants galore, catering to every taste.
Take the Jubilee Line and head west from Canada Water and in 6 stops you’ll be at Green Park station for Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guards. Take a pit stop at Westminster, just 5 stops from Canada Water, to visit impressive landmarks such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Take a walk over Westminster Bridge for a trip on the London Eye for spectacular views over London. Stay on the Jubilee Line until Bond Street underground station and you will find yourself right at the heart of the West End, for shopping on Regents Street and Oxford Street.
If it’s a beautiful day, then walk just 6 minutes from the property to catch a boat from Surrey Quays Greenland Pier, that can take you straight to Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge for the Tower of London, Westminster or in the opposite direction to historic Greenwich and the O2.
If you’re thinking of taking in some museums, then head west from Westminster on the District or Circle Lines to South Kensington underground station for the Natural History museum, Victoria and Albert museum or the Science museum, all of which are free entry (except special exhibitions). The Royal Albert Hall for concerts, is also a short walk from South Kensington underground station. You
can also travel from here one stop to Knightsbridge for the famous Harrods store.
The theatre district where all the world’s best musicals and plays are performed and Covent Garden, the cultural centre of the West End are all within about a 40 minute journey on public transport from Canada Water.
